Originally arranged as part of an 'altered holiday' music set performed at the stage at Christmas Village in Philadelphia this moderately funky version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen gives the players and listeners something slightly different from what they know. It has one embellished phrase that prevents it from becoming a predictable singalong. Tempo marked is 140 but slower and faster tempos work really well. The timing varies from 1'20" to just under 2 minutes. This is arranged for Brass quartet and/or Saxophone quartet with a drum set musician.
