Published by Phil Beaman (A0.1150778).God Remembers When the World Forgets is a piano solo arrangement of the 1913 hit pop song by Carrie Jacobs-Bond, which was originally a ballad for voice and piano. I simplified this ballad into 2 part writing in order to let the beautiful melody come through in a more thoughtful way. The opening section is nearly chant-like, then the second section adds gently flowing broken chords to the accompaniment. The whole thing repeats, then the Coda provides the maestoso climax with rich harmony.
