Clarinet Duet Clarinet - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1675552

Composed by Erik Satie. Arranged by James Smith. This edition: pdf. 19th Century, Classical. 2 scores. 2 pages. Ensemble Llama Music Publications #1241079. Published by Ensemble Llama Music Publications (A0.1675552).

The Gnossiennes are several piano compositions by Erik Satie in the late 19th century. Gnossienne No. 1 was published as one of 3 piano compositions known as the Trois Gnossiennes, and is considered the most well-known within the set. The Gnossiennes are generally in free time and experimental with form, rhythm and chordal structure. Its unique harmonic palette makes for a highly engaging duet, with the melody passing between the parts throughout the work. A bass clarinet could play the Clarinet 2 part.
