Glorious Celebration, 3 pages, is an intermediate piece in the key of D, is the eighth piece from a fairy tale suite of 8 pieces entitled "The Kingdom of Light". This work tells the story of a beautiful kingdom where the people are always singing and dancing. A place with glorious sunsets and sparkling seashores, with no evil lurking anywhere...until one day the Dark Knight arrives. Can the Prince save his lovely Princess? Can peace and safety be restored once more? For individual student enjoyment as well as for recital programs. The recordings have narration and character voice overs followed by the piano piece that tells the story. Churches can use this for religious purposes as this can be allegorical in nature.
The solo, "Glorious Celebration", is in 4/4 time, is an exultant reprisal with some changes, of the village dance from Joyful News! Students with small hands can play single notes instead of octaves when necessary.
