Gloria Estefan is een zeer succesrijke latin-zangeres, afkomstig uit Cuba, die in de jaren tachtig en negentig met de 'Miami Sound Machine' een indrukwekkende reeks hits scoorde. Zo werden 'Dr.Beat' en 'Conga' grote successen in Nederland. In 1993 werd weer een Spaanse plaat 'Mi Tierra' uitgebracht met o.m. typische salsa-nummers. Peter Kleine Schaars verwerkte diverse bekende successen tot een leuke medley.

Gloria Estefan is a most successful latin singer of Cuban origin. She scored an impressive series of hits with the group 'Miami Sound Machine' in the eighties and nineties. Songs such as 'Dr.Beat' and 'Conga' became great successes in Europe. In 1993 a new successful record in Spanish 'Mi Tierra', with a.o. some typical salsa tunes, was released. Peter Kleine Schaars arranged several of the singer's most popular tunes into a fine and pleasant medley.

Dans les années quatre-vingts et quatre-vingt dix elle a réalisé une série impressionnante de tubes avec le groupe 'Miami Sound Machine'.
