This composition was written for flute quartet (two C flutes, alto flute, and bass flute with optional 2nd alto substituting for the bass) and chorus. The intention was for our quartet to play with the choir as a offertory piece but we never ended up getting it performed (hence the sound bite doing 'aaahs' instead of lyrics). It was suggested my verse was too avaricious sounding. Feel free to change it if you agree.
