Girls for Sale is a melancholy orchestral song, depicting the sad life of the young Japanese girls, that stand on the streets of Tokyo, displaying placards of dubious merit.
The violas and violins are shown as chords in the sheetmusic, for fullness of sound in the orchestral simulation, but should be played by the dominant chordal note, in the string and viola sections, when playing live. The lyrics are shown on the piano staff lines throughout. This song is for any budding singer that wants to show their versatilty in dramatic singing .
