Stripped back SSA (or SAA) plus piano version of the classic song by Alicia Keys. The description references the Bluelight version since that is the laid back vibe I wanted to create for this arrangement. The lyrics and harmonic structure do, however, resemble the original version of the song. Many of the glissandos and embellishments of the melody line have been taken away to leave a cleaner version more suitable to part singing. However, where there are solo voice parts (ie like the opening verse when altos and sopranos alternate the vocal melody, the ornamentations can be added back in to provide added colour to the performance.
