sad this isnt better
I love Gaither music but some of these arrangements are just bad. I will be able to use bits and pieces and rewrite some of them. Im an experienced church musician

Great book
I love this book, and use it all the time for pre-service and offering music. The arrangements are very nice, with multiple key changes within the songs. Not very difficult to learn and each song flows with harmony and melodic phrasing. A very nice book to have in any music library.

A few good songs
I returned the book for credit as several of the songs were unknown to me and I am a Gaither's fan and know most of their sons by heart

Gaither Gospel Classics
I would recommend this book to a church pianist who likes Gaither songs who serves a church congregation that does. Most songs are easily prepared. There are many key changes and songs run 3 to 4 pages. Print is large enough to be easily read.

I recommend this book for church musicians!
Carol Tornquist does a nice job of making old songs interesting to listen to. I play the prelude on a keyboard at church Sunday mornings. The songs in this book are perfect for this. They are difficult enough, but too difficult that they cannot be learned in a relatively short amount of time. I like the fact that most of the songs do not have too many sharps, which makes it easier for me to play. The only thing I dislike about the book is that I wish it included more songs.

I love Gaither gospel music. It is so beautiful so I was happy to finally find a book of their music in piano solo format.

Gaither Gospel Classics
I was disappointed because this book was rather too challenging for me to play by sightreading for my enjoyment. I could not enjoy it as I had hoped as I love the Gaither songs. Thank you!

Gaither Gospel Classics
This is a nice book for the pianist to use for preludes & offertories. Our church is small so the pieces are just the right length for offertories. I especially like the arrangement of There's Something About That Name. These pieces are easily recognized by the listener & are not difficult to play. For the person who enjoys Gaither music, this book is a good choice.

Gaither Piano Music---Superb!
In looking for an Easter Offertory, I ran across the Gaither Gospel Classics arranged by Carol Tornquist. As I have some other arrangements by her, I thought I would give this collection a try. Was I ever impressed. The arrangements are beautifully done with not alot of rehearsal time required. ( I received my book in the mail on Wednesday and played Because he Lives the following Easter Sunday.) This is a must have for any pianist that loves the Gaither Music. I hope Ms. Tornquist does another collection soon!
