Published by zephyrwindmusic.com (A0.1200853).American composer Amy Beach (1867-1944) published her epic work Symphony in E minor “Gaelic” in 1896, receiving immediate praise from audiences and musicians in both America and Europe. Consisting of four movements and with a performance time in excess of 40 minutes, it is considered by many to be the first significant symphonic work by an American composer. This edition is updated to meet 21st Century publication standards.
