Erik Mast, who adjusted this imposing music in a brilliant way, made this composition suitable for today’s strength. An unexplored masterpiece!
Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) is vooral bekend om zijn Peer Gynt suite. Deze treurmars, is waarschijnlijk één van zijn meest opmerkelijke composities die origineel werd geschreven voor harmonieorkest. Erik Mast maakte de nodige aanpassingenom deze imposante muziek bruikbaar te maken voor de tegenwoordige bezetting. Een onontdekt meesterwerk!
