Beginning students enjoy playing!
My philosophy as a music teacher is to get the students playing music and LONGER pieces than the one liners in their method books. It teaches them to watch out for key signatures and they get to play enjoyable music they can perform for friends and family. The songs help them learn breathing and more notes quicker which in turn motivates them to practice. I use these books for all my students, including adults. Mel Bay did a good job as they are user friendly in the format and selections. Highly recommend.
