Johann Strauss composed his waltz Frühlingsstimmen (Voices of Spring) op. 410 for coloratura soprano and orchestra, but he wrote as well an instrumental version with different instrumentation. It premierd on 1 March 1883 at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna. The soprano Bianca Bianchi, to whom Strauss dedicated this waltz, performed the solo part there.The arrangement is kept in the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed on 4 July 2018 by the Municipal Band of Landeck, Tyrol, in Austria conducted by Helmut Schmid at the Innsbruck Promenade Concerts in the court of the Imperial Hofburg Castle Innsbruck, Austria, with soprano Maria Erlacher as soloist. Albert Schwarzmann arranged as well the orchestra version, which is published at https://tirolmusikverlag.at/Fruehlingsstimmen .
