It was released in October 2024 as the lead single from her upcoming eighth studio album 'The Invisible Line'. Following the resurgence of her 2001 song "Murder on the Dancefloor", thanks to its appearance in the film Saltburn, Ellis-Bextor signed a record deal with Universal Music Group. On 20 October 2024, she performed the song live for the first time on the British celebrity dance competition programme, Strictly Come Dancing. The accompanying music video was directed by Sophie Muller and Theo Adams and filmed at London's Rivoli Ballroom; it serves as a continuation to the music video for "Murder on the Dancefloor" (also directed by Muller) where Ellis-Bextor is determined to see her daughter win at a competitive dance gala. Nods to 'Murder on the Dancefloor' can be heard in this arrangement for concert band in the castanets and the lush, sweeping disco sound is sure to get your audiences on their feet, as well as give a starring role to your lead alto sax player with an extended solo.
