The other groups of available arrangements are Opus 10, No. 2 and 4, Opus 76, 116, 117, and 118 complete. Brahms' shorter works for piano are considered to be among his most inspired creations. These four pieces make excellent companions to his three original sonatas for violin and piano. The violin parts have been given bowings and fingerings by Boston area violinist, Paul MacDowell. These pieces are well suited to both advanced-intermediate players and professionals alike.
