O'Carolan made his living performing and composing works for patrons; these tunes were named after four women: Betty O’Brien, Miss MacMurray, Grace Nugent and Catherine Martin.
The arrangements are mid-intermediate, using familiar accompaniment patterns with subtle but satisfying rhythms.

Arranged for lever harp tuned in 3 flats.
3 of the 4 tunes fit on a 29-string harp with a lowest string being the G below middle C. The fourth tune includes the E-flat two octaves below middle C, but could be altered to fit on a smaller harp.
