No. 2 An Wasserflüssen Babylons - expressive meditation with the choral melody in the pedal. No. 3 Schmücke dich,o liebe Seele - canon between soprano and bass. No. 4 Allein Gott in der Höh' sei Ehr' - melody ornamented in a dancing and joyful character. The chorale preludes are dedicated to the memory of the american Bach scholar Anne Leahy (1961-2007).Les quatre préludes de chorals de Naji Hakim contiennent des mouvements simples sur des chorals déjà utilisés par Bach dans son recueil de Leipzig : N° 1 "Komm, heiliger Geist, Herre Gott”, N°2 "An Wasserflüssen Babylons”, N° 3 "Schmücke dich, o liebe Seele”, N° 4 "Allein Gott in der Höh’ sei Ehr’”.
