Derek Hasted writes "This energetic piece by Harry Warren, made famous on stage and screen in the eponymous show, works equally well with a quartet and with a large ensemble. The parts vary between easy and intermediate, so it's ideal for a mixed ability ensemble, such as a school group or an adult ensemble with limited experience. This arrangement is based on a version played by Hampshire Guitar Orchestra, and it proved a crowd-pleaser with audiences, who love the driving beat and uplifting melody.
The bass part would also suit a treble-clef "octave" or contra guitar.
