Forsaken
This composition moves me to the scene of the cross within the first few measures and captivates my feelings and thoughts of the deep love Jesus has for sinners. The added string and vocal solos drive the intensity of Jesus willingness to be the silent and spotless lamb for man-for me. It is hard to play this only once!

Feel the anguish
Dan Forrest is in the upper 1% of composers that have a genuine feel for marrying words to music. His text cuts to the feelings that I imagine Christ would have have felt on the cross. Hearing this piece has left me with feeling how inadequate my words of gratitude are to Christ for His sacrifice. In the end, can you ask the music to anything more?
