Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy wrote "Denn er hat seinen Engeln befohlen über dir" for the Berlin Cathedral in 1844, setting verses 11 and 12 of Psalm 91 from the Bible. He later used it in his oratorio Elijah. Here is a lovely version for recorder orchestra or recorder octet.
