Flowergreen is een grote musical die de redding van de aarde beschrijft. Het libretto werd geschreven door Horst Helfrich, een Duitse auteur die in de zomer van 2006 overleed en diep betreurd werd door al diegene die hem gekend hadden. Daarom schreef de Duitse componist Manfred Schneider dit symfonische portret voor harmonieorkest nog voor de wereldcreatie van deze musical.

‘Flowergreen' is a big musical describing the rescue of the earth. The libretto is by Horst Helfrich, a German writer who died in the Summer of 2006 and who was regretted by all those who had known him. That's why the German composer Manfred Schneider wrote this symphonic portrait for wind band, before the very first performance of this big project will go on stage.

‘Flowergreen' est le titre d'une comédie musicale qui évoque le salut de la terre. Le livret a été écrit par l'écrivain allemand Horst Helfrich, décédé durant l'été 2006 et fortement regretté par tous ceux qui l'ont connu. Le compositeur allemand Manfred Schneider a voulu écrire ce portrait musical pour orchestre d'harmonie avant la première mondiale (posthume) de la comédie musicale.

Flowergreen ist ein großes Musical das die Rettung der Erde beschreibt. Das Libretto ist von Horst Helfrich, einem deutschen Schriftsteller der im Sommer 2006 verstarb und von sehr vielen Menschen stark beweint wurde. Deswegen komponierte Manfred Schneider ein sinfonisches Porträt für Blasorchester noch vor der Uraufführung dieses großen Projektes.
