Published by Edition Schwalbe (A0.1650378).The Fledermaus Quadrille (Bat Quadrille) op. 363 is based on motifs from Johann Strauss' most famous operetta Die Fledermaus (The Bat), which had its premiere in 1874. The exact date and place of the quadrille's premiere is not known, but it is assumed to have taken place in June 1874. The arrangement is one half tone higher than the original key of the composition for symphony orchestra and was commissioned and first time performed by Salzburg Wind Philharmonic conducted by Hansjoerg Angerer at their "Three Kings' Concert" on 6 January 2025 at the "Grosses Festspielhaus" (Large Festival Hall) in Salzburg, Austria and broadcasted live by Austrian television.
