Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.1581223).Despite its opus number and public composition date, The Flapping Duck Song, in somewhat less developed form, dates back to about 1979 or 1980, and was conceived as a comical moment of entertainment in group situations, where the Composer could sing the top line, either solo or with a second line accompanying on almost any appropriate instrument. His rendering was always in a suitably embarrassingly crazy camped-up pseudo-operatic bass voice. The Composer would delight in any choir with lively and incisive delivery singing it.
