By Trevor Denyer. Composed by Gustav Laska Op.28. Arranged by Susan & Trevor Denyer. This edition: pdf. 19th Century, Romantic Period. Score and part. 45 pages. Trevor Denyer #1012259. Published by Trevor Denyer (A0.1431785).Gustav Laska was a Czech bass player and composer of some note in his lifetime, being one of the school of Czech double bass playing inspired by the great Franz Simandl.
These "Five Pieces" were originally written for Cello and Piano, but transcribe well for the double bass after a careful choice of keys. They add to a rather restricted range of repertoire for this instrument.
Print the parts double-sided as presented; including title pages and the page turns will work.
