Great arrangements of well-known childrens' songs
A great collection of children's songs for finger-style guitar. All the arrangements are well thought out and fit well on the guitar. Some use Drop-D tuning but otherwise all songs are in standard tuning. I didn't find any of the arrangement to be too difficult to play and they mostly hang out in 1st position sometime venturing up to 5th or 7th depending on the range of the melody. Overall, a great product in Hal Leonard's "Fingerpicking" line of guitar/TAB books.

Great for late baby boomers
A lot of really nice sounding arrangements that follow the melody (similar to Venture music). Late beginner/early intermediate should have no problem. Good mix of standard and drop D tuning. Most of the material is in the first five frets but several go higher (I think max was 10th fret). Material is good enough for background at an event (elevator music). But beware, most children today will enjoy the music but not know the tunes. The parents will enjoy and sing along.
