I've lowered the pitch by one whole tone so that the melody stays within the "sweet spot" of the oboe, where it is much more haunting.The part scores will allow you to play without page turns.The Guitar plays with a Capo on fret 5, to give a light and airy accompaniment based on familiar shapes.This is a very accessible version of a well-known and substantial piece.I’ve left the choice of dynamics and fingering to you - the players - so that you can choose where on the neck you play, and the phrasing you add - just make it “yours” in performance.I hope you enjoy this piece!"
