Dmitri Shostakovich's Festive Overture is a brilliant composition, and this Donald Hunsberger arrangement for concert band is a truly magnificent edition. While the orchestral textures are incredibly rich and the voice-leading (across the ensemble) is masterful, it's important to understand this isn't designed for piano-vocal collaboration. It's a full score and parts for a mature band, making it superb in its intended context, but not for a vocal coach's direct use.

This Hal Leonard edition of Shostakovich's Festive Overture, Op. 96, arranged by Hunsberger, is outstanding for concert bands.
