Two selections are for either a soprano or tenor soloist with choral background. The exhilarating accompaniment, brilliantly scored by the creative pen of Michael Lawrence, adds sparkle to the presentation. However, all the thrills and key moments lie within the piano score, making it a compelling option on its own. Composed for a world premiere on the main stage at Carnegie Hall in 2020, this musical is available in SATB and SAB editions. Festival of Christmas
This is Mary McDonald at her very best! O come o come. Emmanuel is particularly moving with one of the most beautiful and poignant melodies I have ever heard. Our little choir (18) found it not too challenging, but did not have the high sopranos for O Holy Night (which is absolutely gorgeous). It is well worth any work it may take!
