FEELING GOOD is a song written by English composers Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the musical The Roar of the Greasepaint – The Smell of the Crowd. It was first performed on stage in 1964 by Cy Grant on the UK tour. Nina Simone recorded Feeling Good for her 1965 album I Put a Spell on You. The song has also been covered by other famous artists, including American singer Sammy Davis Jr., English rock band Traffic, and more recently Canadian singer Michael Bublé.
This arrangement is in Bublé's key (E-flat minor), and will need your concert band to include a rhythm section - at bare minimum, bass and drum set players. (You could get by without piano and/or guitar, but it'll be more authentic if you have them.) The 1st trumpet part does have some high stuff (think "lead trumpet"), but there are optional lower notes if your trumpets don't have that kind of range.
