Solid Collection for Classical Gigs
This volume is essential for classical vocal gigs requiring German Lieder. The accompaniments are standard and accurate for high voice. Note: no chord symbols here, it's all notated, which is expected for this repertoire. Page turns are generally manageable for individual songs. Great for a prepared recital or studio work. The included audio is a nice practice aid.

Excellent Resource for Developing Musicians
This collection is a gem for students tackling German Lieder. The piano accompaniments, while challenging, offer superb pedagogical value for intermediate to advanced pianists, developing nuanced phrasing and sight-reading skills. The clear layout and inclusion of IPA pronunciation guides make it incredibly student-friendly. Highly recommend for high school and collegiate singers and their collaborative pianists.

Pure Joy for German Lieder!
What a fantastic collection! As an adult learner, I love having these classic German Art Songs all in one place. The digital audio with professional accompaniment is incredibly helpful for practice, making me feel like I’m really making music. While the piano parts require dedication, mastering these beautiful works by composers like Schubert and Brahms is incredibly rewarding. Plus, the translations and IPA guides are a lifesaver!

I have listened to a few of the songs in this book, sung by noted professionals. They are beautiful, and I hope to someday sing them as well as the professionals do .

Just what it claims to be
This volume is nice-looking and well put-together with separate translations and pronunciation guides to the German texts. I'm not sure whether the accompaniments are original, but listening to a performance of Zueignung, the pianist was playing something very close or identical to what is written here. What you will not find is piano arrangements with the voice part included--playing the accompaniments without a singer is not satisfying. [And I did not listen to the included recordings yet, this is just a note on the printed work.]
