A wonderful tool for young drummers ... each page has something new, while reviewing what has been learned.

Fast Track Drum Book 1
I've been using this book in private drum lessons for about 14 years now and find it very comprehensive and contains a lot of variety for an excellent start in the wonderful world of drumming. It contains the most for the money and my students never get bored with it. The CD is helpful as well and the play-along songs at the end add a fun twist to practice time.
