Fantasia on "Blessed Assurance" Organ Solo - Digital Sheet Music

The melody of "Blessed Assurance" was composed by Phoebe Palmer Knapp (1807-1874) and the lyrics were writte by Fanny Crosby (1820-1915). This popular hymn reflects Crosby's walk of faith, as expressed by the apostle Paul in Philippians 1:21. Even though F. Crosby was blind, she wrote more than 8,000 hymns and gospel song, with more than 100 million copies printed. Jung-A Lee performed as organist, pianist, and harpsichordist all over the world including USA, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, China, and South Korea to mention a few. She studied at Yale University, Boston University, and Humboldt Universitaet in Berlin, Germany. She currently teaches at BIOLA University, Concordia University, and Orange County School of the Arts while sercing as organist at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach, California.
