Following a successful appearance at a national competition a leading Japanese concert band commissioned the composition of this new work. The presentation of the main theme at the beginning of the piece, along with its eventual development and variations in the middle section, represents a very personal message for the band. It symbolises both the joy felt following the success at the competition and looks forward to further successes in the future. An inspiring work which celebrates the success of any band.
Dieses Stück wurde von einem japanischen Blasorchester nach der erfolgreichen Teilnahme bei einem landesweiten Wettbewerb in Auftrag gegeben. Die Präsentation des Hauptmotivs im ersten Teil des Stückes und dessen graduelle Weiterentwicklung und Variationen im zweiten Teil sollen einerseits die Freude über den erreichten Erfolg ausdrücken und gleichzeitig den ersten Schritt in die Zukunft symbolisieren. Ein Thema, mit dem sich sicherlich viele Blasorchester auf der Welt identifizieren können!
Fanfare Legende One è una marcia brillante che riflette l’entusiasmo e la voglia di riuscire che caratterizzano i musicisti del mondo intero. Il motivo principale è sviluppato nel corso di molteplici variazioni che divengono gradualmente più difficili nel corso del brano.
