Het langzame middendeel doet denken aan de prachtige pianowerken van de spaanse componist Isaac Albeniz, waarvan er reeds vele voor HaFa werden geïnstrumenteerd. Het snelle gedeelte is de eigenlijke Fandango, waarmee het stuk begint en (in een wervelend slot) eindigt.
Though composed as a simple unpretentious little work, this 'Fandango Fantasy' sounds somewhat virtuoso. The slow middlepart makes us think of the plendid piano pieces by the Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz, many of wich have already been orchestrated for wind band. The quick part with which the work starts and ends (in a whirling finale) is the actual fandango.
Cette 'Fandango Fantasy' (Fantaisie en forme de Fandango) donne une certaine impression de virtuosité, tout en restant une oeuvre sans prétention. La partie centrale lente nous rappelle les merveilleusee oeuvree pour piano du compositeur espagnol Isaac Albeniz, dont plusieurs ont été orchestreées pour orchestre à vent. La partie rapide par laquelle le morceau débute et se termine (de façon étourdissante) cet le fendango proprement dit.
Diese 'Fandango Fantasy' (Fandango Phantasie) hort sich etwas virtuos an, aber ist eigentlich ganz einfach. Das langsame Mittelteil erinnert uns an die prachtvolle Pianostücke des spanischen Komponisten Isaac Albeniz, von denen schon viele für Blasorchester orchestriert worden sind. Der langsame Teil mit dem das Stück anfängt und (in einem wirbelnden Finale) aufhört ist der eigentliche Fandango.
