Fairest Lord Jesus (Easy Violin Duet with Piano Accompaniment)
Here is an instrumental trio (for two VIOLINS with PIANO accompaniment) of the familiar German Folk tune CRUSADER'S HYMN (a Silesian melody sometimes referred to as ST. ELIZABETH or "Beautiful Savior"). VIOLIN 1 plays the melody throughout while VIOLIN 2 provides harmony. An optional repeat is included for flexibility in performance length.
The range for each part is as follows: VIOLIN 1 ~ F-sharp4 to G5; VIOLIN 2 ~ B3 to C5. All notes for both VIOLINS are playable in the first position making this arrangement an excellent choice for early-intermediate string players. The PIANO accompaniment is written for an intermediate player.
Though notated for two VIOLINS, the VIOLIN 1 part could also be played by a FLUTE for a FLUTE and VIOLIN Duet.
