This arrangement of Ex's and Oh's is based on Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox cover. It is a fun, New Orleans jazz style arranged for SATB with an alto solo at the beginning. The arrangement includes written piano, bass (acoustic or electric), and optional clarinet parts. Upright bass would give a more authentic feel, but electric will work as well. Your drummer can improvise a fast swing style and chords are available on the piano accompaniment for a guitarist to play along in an appropriate style. The piano part can be played as is, but if your piano player is able, improvisation would certainly be welcome. The demo recording begins at measure 14 and fades out at measure 37.
