I went to Brazil and, during the show, the audience kept shouting: 'Evie, Evie!' I was thinking, 'What are they saying?' And they told me: 'It's obvious that you recorded a song called 'Evie.' We went to a CBS affiliate and listened to my recording. My conductor, Mike Lucas, worked on the arrangements and then I sang it. It's a beautiful song. Jim Webb is a great songwriter."
