It may be rung with two people in 4-in-Hand or four people in a small ensemble with 2 bells each. This arrangement highlights the lilting give and take of the melody with a quiet peace. This arrangement allows a quartet to ring with standard position assignments (spaces in the left hand and lines in the right hand). An alternate key version is available under the title Evening Light that uses bells G5-G6. Common hymn titles associated with this tune are: "O Light Whose Splendor", and "The Day Thou Gavest, Lord, Is Ended".
