De European Overture is een enthousiaste en fantastische opening opgedragen aan- en in première gebracht door Jan Cober en The European Union Youth Wind Orchestra in Luxemburg in 2013. Als klarinettist in het EUYWO had componist Pérez Garrido niet alleen het voorrecht met maestro Cober en een groot aantal van de meest getalenteerde jonge Europese muzikanten samen te werken, maar maakte hij ook veel goede vrienden. Deze geweldige ervaring motiveerde hem om de nu al succesvolle European Overture te componeren.
The European Overture is an enthusiastic and amazing opening dedicated to and premiered by Jan Cober and the European Union Youth Wind Orchestra in Luxembourg, 2013. As a clarinetist member of the EUYWO (2009, 2011 and 2013), not only was Pérez Garrido fortunate enough to work with maestro Cober and many of the most talented European young musicians but he also made a lot of good friends. This incredible experience motivated him to compose one of his most renowned works.
European Overture est une ouverture enthousiaste et fantastique dédiée à - et jouée en première par Jan Cober et The European Union Youth Wind Orchestra au Luxembourg en 2013. En tant que clarinettiste dans l’ EUYWO le compositeur Pérez Garrido avait non seulement le privilège de travailler avec le maestro Cober et un grand nombre des plus talentueux jeunes musiciens d’Europe, mais faisait également beaucoup d’amis. Cette expérience fabuleuse l’a motivé à écrire cette European Overture, déjà un succès.

Als Klarinettist in dem EUYWO hatte der Komponist Pérez Garrido nicht nur das Vorrecht mit Maestro Cober und einer großen Anzahl der am talentiertesten jungen, europäischen Musikanten zusammen zu arbeiten, sondern auch, dass er viele gute Freunde machte. Diese unglaubliche Erfahrung motivierte ihn um die jetzt schon erfolgreiche European Overture zu komponieren.
