Etude Solitude - Woodwind Trio Woodwind Trio - Sheet Music

Brahms' music remained in my head while composing. I don't know any other composer who could write such a lonely score. It is relatively easy to express sadness, it can be shared with others limitlessly. In contrast, loneliness is very personal and cannot be shared with anyone else. Loneliness always accompanies solitude. However, the two will never be the same. Loneliness exists in miscellaneous daily life, and solitude is not always lonely. Where on earth is my loneliness? This is the second time I have composed for this instrumentation. Since my previous work "Poem II" was probably ideological, this work aims to be honest and emotional without any strangeness. There are choices of A/Bb in the clarinet part, but technically I think that both have advantages and disadvantages. There is no particular designation, but it is generally assumed to be A clarinet. When used in an ensemble contest, you will have to edit this piece (as was the case at the time of the premiere). In that case, cut T entirely. Nothing else is allowed. (Masaki Itani)
