Si bien es cierto no es para orquesta sinfónica grande, creo que esta versión de cámara es más que suficiente y le rinde el mérito que merece la obra a través de un arreglo más camerístico un poco tipo Puccini, pero con su color y sabor mexicano clásico del autor. Aunque no es una versión para soprano y orquesta, esta versión solo instrumental, que lleva siempre la voz principal en el primer violín (quizás mi única observación a considerar, siendo un arreglo orquestal), sirve perfectamente para poderla cantar con la soprano solista. De hecho yo la transportaría a la tonalidad original para ser cantada por una excelente soprano y haría algunas pequeñas modificaciones en el doblaje de la voz. Pero esta versión en re mayor (que puede ser también perfectamente utilizada para ser cantada), me parece que está muy bien, pues se adapta mejor a la sonoridad de la orquesta haciéndola sonar un poco más brillante y cálida a la vez, más "corpórea" menos "etérea"
