As a teacher, I love this series. We pick some pieces from each time period, master them, then move on to the next level. It helps me push the student forward with confidence! I also require them to listen to each song at least 50 times during our learning of the piece. (I do this AFTER they have learned how to sight-read well. (I usually start using these pieces around Level 5).

Completely thrilled with my purchase. I now have books 5,6 and 7 and there is not one piece that I don't enjoy playing. The accompanying CD is great for people like me who struggle with timing! Its good to hear how the piece should be played and then attempt to duplicate it. Recommend with gusto. This series is fantastic.
