Piano teacher

Excellent resource. Composer information a plus. Information about instruments helpful. Concise and easy to read.

An absolute must for all piano teachers.

I have used this Dictionary for my students for years. It is a good size to keep closeby, full in all the musical definitions needed and gives an adequate history of famous composers. One year I gave it as a Christmas gift to my students. It gets 5 stars from me.

Wonderful Student Tool

This is a wonderfully comprehensive teaching tool, and I insist on each student having a personal copy. It contains all the definitions a musician would wish to have, plus a short bio of composers and other music luminaries, as well as scales, chords, and much more. The only improvement I've been able to make on it is that I have it spiral-bound, as it has a flimsy backing and won't lay open.
