This Españoleta was taken for the Instrucción de música sobre la Guitarra Española. Gaspar Sanz (1640 - 1710) originally composed this for solo guitar. However, I have taken some liberties to arrange it for guitar quartet. Much care and attention has been taken to expand the texture into four parts while still maintaining the original voice leading and musical spirit of the original.
Full score and individual parts included.
I have tested this arrangement on my own students of various skill levels (beginner to advanced). They seem to enjoy and understand their parts and can play this with relative ease.
