The song was originally released by the duo in 1977 and immortalized in Venturini's voice in 1982. The song was born from a creative and curious collaboration: the melody was composed by Flávio Venturini and the lyrics were finalized by Guarabyra. The song appeared on the album "Pirão de Peixe com Pimenta" (1977). It gained even more prominence and became a classic of popular song in the voice of Flávio Venturini, on his first solo album "Nascente" (1982). Sá e Guarabyra were precursors of the "rural rock" movement in Brazil (originally started in a trio with Zé Rodrix).
