Espacios is a programmatic work in six parts for piano. It speaks about our internal spaces, our corners and turns; our spaces for thought and expression; expression that evidences every personal experience as it combines the life we’ve led with our very own pristine essence. Every space signifies and represents an area for creation, recreation, reflection, emotion and so on. Altogether they constitute our makeup as individuals, as sensitive human beings. From a formal perspective, Spaces is a work in five programmatic parts that take us inside our own process of evolution, from the fragile beginning of things to dialog and introspection, to acts of faith and hope, and finally into spaces of silence. It is a spiral that invites listeners to evoke profound and sensitive personal internal moments, and to enjoy relaxing music for meditation or as a companion.
