Dann folgen in systematischer Anordnung die Abschnitte: Sexten und Doppelgriffe, Triolen, rhythmische Studien, Tonleitern und Stücke in Moll, Chromatik, erste Pedalanwendung sowie Tonleitern und Stücke mit mehr als drei Vorzeichen. Eingestreut sind einige originale Sätze zu vier Händen. Abschluss bildet ein Stück von Béla Bartók, dessen instruktive Klaviermusik für die Jugend die ideale Synthese von künstlerischem Wert und pädagogischer Nutzbarkeit darstellt.
