'Brigadoon' is a musical with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and score by Frederick Loewe. The plot features two American tourists who stumble upon Brigadoon, a mysterious Scottish village that appears for only one day every 100 years; one tourist soon falls in love with a young woman from Brigadoon. Opening on Broadway in 1947, it was followed with a film version in 1954. There have been many revivals since, including in London's Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in the summer of 2025. This arrangement of the Entr'Act (opening Act Two) is based on the original orchestration by Ted Royal and features the songs 'Almost Like Being in Love' (now a standard in its own right), 'Come To Me, Bend To Me', 'The Heather on the Hill' and 'I'll Go Home With Bonnie Jean'. Transport your audience to the magic of Brigadoon, perfect for either a concert of film music or Broadway/West End classics.
