This beautiful work in 4 parts is based on the 4 elements of nature: air(Epouranios), water (Hudor), fire (Aysh) and earth (Ghay). The main theme emerges in each part, that has it’s own character and style. ‘Empedocles Suite’ is an excellent work for concert and competition.
Met dit prachtig 4-delig werk zette de componist lucht (Epouranios), water (Hudor), vuur (Aysh) en aarde (Ghay) op toon. Het basisthema van deze compositie (g,ges,f,as,g) duikt op in elk van de vier delen, die elk op zich hun eigenkarakter en stijl hebben. Een prima concert- of wedstrijdwerk.
Mit dieser beeindruckenden 4-sätzigen Komposition, machte der Komponist eine Tondichtung zu den Themen: Luft (Epouranios), Wasser (Hudor), Feuer (Aysh) und Erde (Ghay). In allen Sätzen, die jeweils einen eigenen typischen Charakter haben, wurde das Basisthema (G, ges, F, As, G) verarbeitet. Ein tolles Werk für beides: Wettbewerb und Konzert.
