Great for Last-Minute Situations
I purchased this song last week and have run through it with the choir for two rehearsals. They absolutely love it and the way that Away in a Manger in integrated makes it really interesting. The harmonies are repetitive, but not boring, so it's quick to learn and the choir is very confident with it after just two rehearsals. I chose only one soprano who sight-reads well to do the descant part, so that has also made it easier for everyone. The accompaniment part is beautifully written and was very easy to learn as well. This is a great piece for last-minute planning and since it can be printed, I was able to start rehearsing it immediately.
